P3 – Lunge with Trunk Twist

Set and Reps:

  • 5 reps each side
  • 2 sets

Main Focus:

Maintain knee over foot alignment.

Limit trunk rotation to a comfortable range of motion.

Your goal is improve your trunk over leg dissociation.

Modifications:

Reduce the amount of trunk rotation.

Reduce the depth of your lunge.

Use a lighter ball or no ball at all.

If your balance is an issue use a ski pole or two for support.
