Our Team

Mitch has been a PT since 2004 and has owned and operated Union Physical Therapy in Seattle with his wife Elisa Owens PT since 2010. He loves spending time moving in the mountains whether it’s in the backcountry or at the resort with his family. His passion for the outdoors has led to a focus on treating and training mountain athletes.

Mitch and his partners started ATP because they learned of the research on NCAA athletes that showed the right training program could reduce someone’s chances of injury significantly. The idea of applying this to skiing and giving people the ability get more enjoyment out of their time in the mountains is what inspired him to co-develop ATP with Kristen Vaughan PT and Mandie Majerus PT.
