Ski and Snowboard Conditioning Class Confirmation


Thank you for signing up for an Alpine Physical Therapy ski conditioning class.  We look forward to getting our sweat on together as we prepare for the upcoming ski season. 


A few things to know about the class: 

  • Classes will start with a 5 minute warm-up and explanation of the circuit stations.  Please come a few minutes early to ensure that you’re ready to go when we start the workout.
  • Circuit stations include a combination of strength, mobility and plyometric-type exercises.  Some modifications can be made to accomodate ability-level and injury considerations, but to get the most out of this class, you should feel comfortable doing bodyweight squats or lunges for 1 minute. 


If you would like to track your progress over the course of the class.  We have developed a self-assessment tool to evaluate key areas of mobility, strength, and control needed for skiing.  Check it out here: https://alpinetrainingproject.com/self-assessment/.  Run through the assessment on your own before thee first class, share that information with your instructor, and re-assess any problem areas at the mid-point and end of the class series. 


One last thing!  As a special offer for our class participants we are offering a FREE MONTH of membership to our online training programs.  This can be used in conjunction with the class to guide you through at-home workouts to supplement the in-person class. It also includes a yoga flow, stretches, and foam-rolling techniques that are nice tools for active recovery on off-days.  Use the code CLASS19. Code expires Nov. 1, 2019.
